As the lead (and sole) designer on the Yahoo DSP Go-To-Market Strategy team, I partnered cross-functionally with product solutions, sales, product marketing, and email specialists to design our bi-monthly client newsletter. This key communication channel informs advertisers of new features and updates within our DSP platform.
My role involved not just designing the visuals, but also strategically interpreting dense or technical content and transforming it into clear, engaging, and easy-to-digest creative. I often create custom graphics, animations, and short videos to effectively demonstrate complex product updates, always keeping the tone concise, visual, and user-friendly to match short attention spans.
To ensure the creative resonated, we closely monitor performance metrics and regularly A/B tested subject lines, layouts, and visual elements, giving me a valuable feedback loop to iterate and improve based on user behavior. This project exemplified my ability to bring clarity to complexity and drive engagement through thoughtful, targeted design.
